JENCARLOS CANELA 2012 KING
A true example of talent is the ascending career of the young Cuban-American singer and actor, JENCARLOS CANELA. A graduate of the prestigious New World School of the Arts, his likeable image captured the attention of numerous companies who have chosen him as the singer/songwriter of various commercials. By 2008, Telemundo selected Jencarlos as the teenage lead in a soap-opera interpreting the theme song for the story.
Jencarlos produced his first album titled “Buscame” and his hit song “Amor Quedate” is now playing in radio stations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Mexico, Latin America and Europe thanks to Televisa and Bullseye Music Entertainment. A few hours after releasing the music video it became numero uno on the Latin Music Videos on I-Tunes.
Jencarlos was the lead in the musical “Miami Libre” as well as in the film “Hunted by Night” released worldwide in 2009. He appeared on the cover of People en Español as one of the 25 Most Handsome Men.
Against all odds, and setting a huge Milestone in the history of hispanic television in the US, Cuban-American singer Jencarlos Canela received his first Lo Nuestro Award as Relevation Pop Solo Act. This event marked the first time Univision gives one of their awards to an artist from a rival network like Telemundo, making it clear that at the end of the day, it is the fans who chose Jencarlos for this award.
The Kiwanis Club of Little Havana extends a warm welcome to JENCARLOS CANELA as the King of Carnaval Miami 2012!!
