With a track record of 30 years of selecting intelligent, self-confident and articulate young ladies to represent the culture and beauty of the Hispanic women.
The contest invites ladies between the ages of 16 and 25 to participate in a preliminary competition. A panel of judges select the 25 finalists that vie for the crown based on personality, career goals and poise. Winners receive scholarship and cash awards as well as airline tickets and other valuable prizes.
During Carnaval Miami, the winner and her court become ambassadors of the celebration, often appearing on radio and television shows to promote the events.
Past winners have moved on to rewarding careers many of which are current television personalities, attorneys, dentists, and in public relations; they all credit their success to the Miss Carnaval Miami experience.
